Group Sessions Explained
Why Group Session Work?
By being in a group environment with like-minded people struggling with the same problem, you can see that you are not alone.
You may learn that some people in the group are having a hard time coping with the same stress-related difficulties as yourself, and will hear different versions of how they are coping with that stress. In fact, more often than not, you may find yourself sitting next to someone who is going through a similar experience to you.
Why Beat The Blues Group work is different
Our group sizes are small to keep an intimate environment also giving an opportunity for one on one time with the facilitator – so you will never feel lost within the group.
The difference between our Beat the Blues group sessions is that the focus is on listening to the facilitator, who will go round and treat you individually – there is never any pressure to stand up and disclose anything and you can feel assured that you are free to interact as much or as little as is comfortable to you.
The Benefits of Group Session Work
The power of group dynamics allows us to utilise more workshop tools, so we can do tasks to really pull apart the method, which is a different and highly affective medium of learning.
